Shippo: Japanese Enameling 2:30-3:30

Saturday, August 18, 2:30 pm-3:30 pm

$25 per child  (Ages 6 and up)

Explore your design creativity and have fun with color. We’ll use the ancient art of Japanese enameling (shippo) to apply enamel color on a metal base. Students will  be able to design their own creations and make jewel-like enamel artwork such as key chains, magnets and boxes. Artwork will be fired in a kiln on site and can be taken home right away. Instructor Kiku Doi is from Japan and excited to share her unique talent with you! *This workshop is now full, to be added to the waitlist email

*Please note that we will be using a kiln in this class. Per our instructor, parents are required to sign a separate liability form prior to their child participating. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay and assist if they like.
