Creative Reuse Open House for Educators 9 – 1

Today we are holding an exciting event for teachers and community educators, our fifth annual Creative Reuse Open House for Educators! This year our theme is Mauka and we will look at creative ways to explore the uplands in our island home. In a casual Open House setting, teachers are invited to stop by any time between 9:00am to 1:00pm and get the following:

  • Creative Reuse Art Project ideas to take back and do with their students
  • Materials to use for these art projects
  • Connections with community organizations that focus on art and environmental sustainability.

This event is free but pre-registration is required. For more information contact us at info@artexplorium or sign up to receive our Educator e-Newsletter. Educators are welcome to bring their children to this event and we will have some special art activities set up for keiki.

We also have a bunch of helpful resources and lesson plans for educators posted on our web site.

Our Creative Reuse Open House is sponsored by the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation, founded by Jack and Kim Johnson to support environmental, art, and music education now and into the future.
