Today we are holding an exciting event for teachers and community educators, our fourth annual Creative Reuse Open House for Educators! This year we will focus on native Hawaiian marine life. In a casual Open House setting, teachers are invited to stop by any time between 9:00am to 1:30pm and get the following:
- Creative Reuse Art Project ideas to take back and do with their students
- Materials to use for these art projects
- Connections with community organizations that focus on art and environmental sustainability.
This event is free but pre-registration is required. For more information contact us at info@artexplorium or sign up to receive our Educator e-Newsletter. Educators are welcome to bring their children to this event.
We also have a bunch of helpful resources for educators posted on our web site.
Funding for the Creative Reuse Open House for Educators has been provided by the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation, founded by Jack and Kim Johnson to support environmental, art, and music education now and into the future.
